ARTIST BIOGRAPHIES

Lynda Roth     Performer/Composer Lynda Roth began piano studies at age 7, graduating from Brandeis University in 1974. Her wide ranging abilities have lead her to projects in recording, composing, arranging, accompanying and live solo perfor- mance. In October of 1983 her album "Try" was the Billboard Magazine pick of the week. She has performed with Lola Falana, The Coasters, Sha-Na-Na and Acoustic Alchemy, to name a few. She currently tours nationally with Singer / guitarist Debbie Friedman. Ms. Roth was Musical Director for the 1996 & 1997 concerts at Carnegie Hall that featured Ms. Friedman.
In the spring of 1994 Lynda opened StudioLaguna, a full service digital recording studio. Since then she has been recording and composing for a number of television and corporate clients, among them: ESPN, "Ole, L.A." (L.A. Cable), " CineMom Theme" (O.C. Cable), The San Bernardino Museum, Ultramar and " The Guiding Light." She also did the soundtrack for fine artist Cheryl Ekstrom's work at the O.C. Museum of Art . Her current project is a joint venture with vocalist Karen Gallinger. Ms. Roth resides in Laguna Beach and between projects may be seen performing at several fine nightclubs in that area.

Karen Gallinger     One of Southern California's finest Jazz vocalists, Sea Breeze recording artist Karen Gallinger is a performer who blends artistic passion and technical mastery of her craft into a dynamic and unique package. "She's got it all: voice, harmony, rhythm, timing, phrasing, projection, but most of all...soul" (L.A. Jazz Scene). Ms. Gallinger's original sense of humor and "casual hipness" (Jazz Now) perfectly complement her "voice of extraordinary range and quality "(L.A. Weekly).
Her sensitive interpretations, as well as her ability to belt out a tune, have been lauded by critics as "stylish and sultry" (O.C. Register) as well as "simply fun and irresistible" (L.A. Weekly). A performance artist in the true sense of the word, her wealth of experience includes theater, concerts, nightclub and radio appearances both locally and abroad.
